Father Of Seven: A Look At The Impressive Careers Of President-Elect Ruto’s Children

President-elect William Ruto is a father of seven, two sons and five daughters. The DP is praised for his decision to send all his children to local schools, something that is uncommon with Kenyan elites who often prefer to take their children to schools abroad.

The President elect children are all successful in their careers-from Lawyers to PR strategists to communication experts. His younger children are in school, but if their elder siblings are anything to go by, they are bound to become success stories as well.

Nick Ruto

Nick Ruto is the eldest son of Dr. William Ruto. Like his father, Nick is interested in politics and is reportedly a good public speaker. He is a Lawyer by profession, having been admitted to the bar as an Advocate of the High Court in 2018.

Other than success in his career and business, Nick is also a husband. He got married to Evelyn Chemutai in a traditional ceremony held on January 15, 2022.

June Ruto

She is usually referred to as daddy’s girl due to her close relationship with her father. She studied International Relations in campus.

She works as a diplomat serving as Kenya’s Charge D’Affairs in Poland

She is also recently got married to her Nigerian lover.

Charleen Ruto

Charleen Chelagat, the second-born daughter of the President elect is a director at her father’s Weston Hotel in Lang’ata, Nairobi.

She is in charge of public relations and branding at the high-end hotel that offers various services including accommodation, conferencing, health club and dining.

Stephanie Ruto

Stephanie Jepchumba Ruto is also a communications graduate from Strathmore University.

George Ruto

Dr. Ruto’s youngest son and last born, George Ruto, is still in school. He is the spitting image of his father, with many netizens calling him Hustlers twin. He is also very private chap, so nothing much is known about him.

Abby Ruto

Abby is the daughter of William Ruto who he got out of wedlock. He has however clarified that he is a present father to Abby.

It is alledged that Ruto Met Abby’s mother Priscah when he was the MP for the then Eldoret North constituency and Priscah was still a student at Moi University.

In 2019, Abby sat her KCPE exams and passed, scoring 406 marks out of the possible 500 marks. This made her one of the top students in Uasin Gishu county and nationally. As a result of that, she earned herself a position at Alliance Girls High School.

Nadia Cherono

Nadia Cherono is Ruto’s adopted daughter.

The DP was touched by a story of Nadia, who was abandoned as a new born. He adopted her and gave her his mother’s name, Cherono.
