Pammy Ramz is a gospel artist whose music is primarily aimed at encouraging people and drawing more people to Christ. Coming from a musical family, her journey in the gospel music industry is one that came naturally.

In this interview with WoK, Pammy narrates her story, her latest project and what keeps her going.

Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do

My name is Pammy Ramz. I am a servant of God, a gospel artist and a mother.

How long have you been singing?

I have been singing for more than 15 years now. Having been born in a musical family, singing came very naturally for me, since my parents are also both singers. When I was growing up I realized my singing was a special grace, so I took that opportunity and began singing professionally.

Other than singing what else do you do?

I am also into the ministry of teaching and preaching. However, I love the music ministry because that way through the melody I am able to impact lives in a way that I love most.

What is the impact you wish to have on society through your ministry?

My greatest aim is to bring as many people to Christ as possible. Scripture tells us that when Jesus was sending his disciples out to minister to the world, all He wanted was for them to convert many sinners into followers. I look forward to bring people to Christ and bring transformation to people’s lives through my music.

The gospel music scene has been on the spotlight, with many pointing out that some artists are not practicing what they preach. What are your thoughts on this?

First of all, I would say do not judge a book by its cover. Salvation is a very personal thing, so you do not know someone’s personal relationship with God. If you notice something wrong with a sister or a brother, just correct them in a friendly way. If you go out and publicly bash them, then you are not different in any way. Being kind to one another is the surest way to win souls to Christ. They should remember that everyone is going through a lot that we do not know about, so they should avoid judging one another.

What are some of the songs you have done?

One of my newest songs is Viwango. The song aims to encourage children of God. God promises that he will take us from glory to glory. So this song is to encourage people that God will take them from one level to another. It is not the will of God for us to be stagnant. I encourage people to get saved, because they do not know what will happen tomorrow.

What is your message to young ministers of the gospel?

For the young ministers, find someone you look up to and learn from them. Mentors help mold you emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Also learn good things and characters from other people. Try to align yourself with the will of God as much as you can.

My message to everyone, especially during this electioneering period, is to maintain unity and remember that God loves us all.

Does the gospel music ministry pay?

Yes, it does. When you see artists travelling abroad to minister, it shows something. Wealth and favor and gold belong to God, so we can find all these through the favor and grace of God.

Where can people find your music?

My music is available on my YouTube Channel. I encourage people to watch my music to be blessed. People can also reach out to me in case they want mentorship or encouragement. People can also follow me on my social media platforms to connect with me.
