In a current interview with former radio presenter Oga Obina Nyako claimed to have grown in the streets where he could earn more than Ksh 40,000 per night working as a sex worker.
She says at the time she was a naive young woman who wasn’t afraid,
“Nobody introduced me to the streets. I was in Hurligham when a certain white guy I was with dropped me at Mad House, at the time I did not even know the joint. I was a cheap street walker, I would charge 1000 or 1500 bob.
The highest amount I was said by a White guy was 40K. I did not know how to negotiate at the time.”
Pilot Nyako has since changed and is married with kids.
“I went to a German school here with the money I had saved from my days as a street walker. I applied for an exchange course in Germany and that is how I left Kenya. I landed in a very rich family, but I found it very boring. I left that family, I was stupid and I wish I can change things.”
