Priscah Mwaro: The Life And Times Of CS Ababu Namwamba’s Deceased Ex-Wife

Sports CS Ababu Namwamba’s ex-wife, Priscah Mwaro is dead with reports on Wednesday, March 8, indicating that she was discovered dead in her house.

Her body was moved to MP Shah Hospital morgue even as the the cause of her death continues to remain a mystery.

In this article, WoK looks at the life and moments of Mwaro who is survived by three kids; two boys and a girl.

Background

She hails from Port Victoria, Bunyala West in Busia County.

Mwaro studied at the University of Nairobi from 2013 to 2015 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Human Resource).

She also worked at KENGEN as an administrator in 2010 and regularly posted about her job at the power generation company on social media.

Mwaro birthday fell on March 7th.

Marriage

Mwaro and Ababu got married in 2015, three years before they divorced in 2018 over irreconcilable differences.

The two portrayed a perfect marriage and they were even featured on the cover of the popular Drum Magazine.

The couple would also travel to different countries and appear in public functions together when Ababu was the Budalangi Member of Parliament.

Trouble in paradise

In 2018, cracks started appearing in their marriage with Mwaro accusing the CS of infidelity among other accusations.

However, Ababu countered the accusations before ending his marriage to Mwaro after which she suddenly faded from the limelight.

In a previous interview, the deceased’s brother, Patrick Mwaro noted that efforts to reconcile the two were unsuccessful as Ababu was reluctant.

Patrick said that he pleaded with Ababu to take Mwaro back since they had children but he was adamant and unforgiving.

“I have told him that he is part of our family since they have three children with Priscah, and in such cases, ties between families cannot be ignored, and it was up to him to decide whether he still wants to live with Prisca or not

“You cannot force a man to live with a woman. If he has decided to call it quits with our daughter, so be it,” he said.

According to Mwaro’s friend who spoke to the Stnadard, the the CS’ ex-wife has had a difficult time in the past three years.

The source who spoke to the publication on condition of anonymity noted that the mother of three might have ‘given up the fight’.

By the time of this publication, the CS was yet to issue a public statement or a message of condolence following the death of Priscah Mwaro.
