In the recent months, one club has been constantly trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons. The Loft Lounge & Grill located along the Thika Super Highway has been making headlines for its very eventful nights that sometimes include raunchy viral videos.
Recently, the club was trending on Twitter after raunchy videos emerged, showing women dancing and twerking and exposing their nudity.
In one video, a lady pulls up her dress exposing her behind before going ahead to twerk on a man who is lying flat down on the stage, amid loud cheers from the crowd.
The videos have been met by mixed reactions from netizens. Some were not impressed by them while others were excited by them, saying that they would like to visit the place.
Some celebrities have come out to air their displeasure, terming the videos as embarrassing.
Local radio presenter and self-proclaimed Baby Girl CEO Kamene Goro spoke about the issue on her morning show saying, ”…Baby girl, I know right now there is a lot of pressure, everyone wants to be known, kila mtu anataka kujulikana. You know you feel like just one move before you can burst into the scenes of fame. One I’ll tell you for sure, fame is totally overrated. Overrated, it’s not worth it.”
She went ahead to advise young women against being indecent for fame.
“You do not have to remove your clothes to be noticed. You don’t baby girl, you do not have to remove your clothes to get that fame, whatever it is that you are trying to achieve, whatever it is you are going for. I can guarantee you, you don’t have to remove your clothes for you to get that.
And the internet never forgets, trust me I know! It never forgets, and no matter what you do moving forward with your life, no matter how many accolades you acquire, twenty/ thirty years down the line that video is what will define you,” she added.
