Brian Gacari is a Managing Partner at Property Reality Limited (PRC), a real estate company in Kenya. He established the company over a decade ago, with the sole aim of making property affordable and available for Kenyans from all walks of life. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the biggest and most trusted real estate companies in the country.
Here is his story as told by WoK.
Background and education
Brian was brought up in a middle-class family in Nairobi’s Lang’ata estate. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree; Marketing and Business and Business Administration in 2008 from Strathmore University at 21 years. He worked at a local bank when he was 23. He later became the regional director for Tetra Pak in Ghana, West Africa, where he ventured into the timber business. After his stint in West Africa, he came back to Kenya and got into real estate.
Property Reality Limited
After working in West Africa for a short while, Brian came back to Kenya and immediately got into the real estate business in 2010 at age 25. That is when he founded his company and named it the Property Reality Limited. The company has grown massively, spreading its tentacles in every major town in Kenya, selling land and building and selling houses. The company also has a presence in neighbouring country Rwanda.
One of the qualities of the company that sets it apart is their offer for clients to pay for land in instalments. This has given them an edge over other real estate companies.
PRC Head Quarters are located along at PRC Centre which is along David Osieli Road in Westlands. Subsidiary branches include; Westlands Branch – Talbot Court, along Westlands Avenue, UpperHill Branch at NHIF Building 1st Floor and Town Branch – Lyric house 3rd Floor, Kimathi Street.
Net Worth Sh750 Million
According an article appearing on the Standard in 2014 titled ‘Here are the city’s youngest Millionaires’, his net worth was Sh750 million. At the time he was only 28 years old.
Family life
In March 2017, Brian married his long-time partner Mercy Njeri in a beautiful beach wedding ceremony.
The event was attended by their family and close friends among them radio king Maina Kageni and TV presenter Amina Abdi Rabar.
Gacari and Mercy’s wedding was held at the famous Leopards Beach Resort & Spa in Diani.
